The electric companies are predicting some will still be without electricity until after the next weekend. The storm caused most streets to be blocked by trees, branches, & power lines laying all over the streets & in yards. School will still be closed for Tuesday... many will be closed all week. The area has been declared a state of emergency. The National Guard & FEMA are on the way to help clean up...

Wait a minute... The storm hit Buffalo Thursday afternoon. Before midnight half the trees & power lines were on the ground. Most of the city & surrounding suburbs were without power (400,000 households). It's now Monday evening, 4 DAYS LATER. The National Guard & FEMA are just on their way now??? By the time they show up the citizens would have cleaned up the mess ourselves. Clinton said this isn't the same FEMA as when hurricane Katrina Hit... Really? We hadn't noticed. We still haven't seen them or heard from them, except that they said they're "on their way". Wasn't that the same line they used during Katrina?
