The Mixtapes
« on: February 18, 2015, 05:27:19 am »
The mixtapes require HTML5 to be enabled & be able to play MP3s online. Most browsers will play them with their default settings. So check if you or some browser tools & add-ons changed your settings if they don't play. Downloaded, the files should play on anything able to play MP3s.

Some ad blockers & flash blockers will block HTML5 or MP3s, so make sure you have them set not to block them.

These are compressed so are only intended to be played as low background music, like on your computer speakers. They will really sound compressed played on big speakers or quality headphones played loudly.

I took some lessons from Dolby noise reduction, & recorded them a little bit on the bright side. So if you turn down the treble a little bit on playback, you'll mask some of the compression artifacts without the music sounding too muddy with the lower treble setting. A little bass is lost during the compression process, but can easily be corrected just by turning your bass up a little. Most computer, monitor, tablet, phone, & TV speakers can't handle a lot of bass anyway, or don't even have bass.

I've got many more mixes, but these are the recent most popular ones.

Enjoy!
